Description
Armand Corporation is seeking a Contract Analyst to assist in the contract management and compliance management efforts in a contract for the NY Rising Housing Recovery Program.
The Contract Analyst shall collaborate with a team of Operations and Construction staff in order to manage a large volume of work orders, bills, files and data in a fast-paced Program. Armand Corporation is seeking a candidate with a high level of accountability and pride in his or her work as well as a desire to instill and maintain accountability in others. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing multiple tasks, the needs of various parties, and competing deadlines. He or she excels at communicating with colleagues and diverse stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
Essential Functions
The Contract Analyst’s duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation, contract and work order documentation, and vendor billing documentation.
2. Assist Program Reporting staff by providing data about contractors, employees, and the status of construction contracts at a moment’s notice.
3. Upload and check the accuracy of contract data and project documents uploaded into one or more secure web applications.
4. Assist in documenting the company’s adherence to diversity contracting / hiring goals by completing and reviewing monthly/quarterly reporting.
5. Review subcontractors monthly and quarterly compliance and diversity reporting for consistency, accuracy and compliance with report instructions.
6. Keep tabs on and rectify issues related to insurance, compliance, licenses, and other requirements for a large quantity of subcontractors in order to constantly ensure that all work completed is valid and compliant.
Qualifications
• 2-7 years of professional experience
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in any field.
• Superior Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Computer Skills (PDF programs, MS Office Word, Excel at minimum) and capacity to learn new programs, including web-based applications for file upload and data entry.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience in one or more of the following: Contract Management, Project Management, Data Analysis and Data Management, Reporting & Compliance (esp. City / State / Federal Reporting), Public Procurement, Business Development
